1. Mastery of Basic Chemistry Content: Students completing the program will be able to demonstrate competency and understanding of the basic concepts found in chemistryincluding nomenclature, structures, basic reactions, equilibria and basic energy changes during reactions
2. Laboratory Skills:Students will become proficient in lab skills such as lab safety, record keeping, experimental design, data analysis, computational chemistry and the choosing of appropriate instrumentation.
3. Chemical Science Advocacy & Communication Skills:Students will become proficient in conducting literature searches, data interpretation, teamwork and making presentations.
