• Students will show awareness of how learning needs can impact families.
• Students will demonstrate knowledge of the learning abilities of the individual with exceptional learning needs.
• Students will show awareness of how organizations function to meet the needs of the individual with exceptional learning needs.
• Students will demonstrate knowledge of current theories, laws, and policies for the education of exceptional learners.
• Students will demonstrate advocacy with parents and the community in responding to the varying abilities and behaviors of exceptional learners.
• Students will discover how to create Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) and (Individualized Education Plans) (IEP) goals and objectives to impact individuals.
