Unconditional Admission
Out-of-state students and international students may enroll in the MTLL program, if they meet admission requirements.
A curriculum leadership internship is required during the final two semesters of the program. Arkansas P-12 Curriculum Program Director licensure is contingent on the candidate's ability to complete the internship in an Arkansas school district and requires that the candidate hold an initial standard teaching license in the state of Arkansas.
Students are eligible to apply for unconditional admission to the Master of Education degree program in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership if they meet the following admission requirements:

Graduates of the M.Ed. in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership program will be prepared to lead instructional change, mentor educators, and enhance curriculum development in public schools.
The program is aligned with the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSEL), the Arkansas Lead Teacher Model Standards, and the Arkansas Leader Excellence and Development System (LEADS) to ensure that candidates meet state and national leadership expectations.
1. Instructional and Curriculum Leadership
- Design, implement, and evaluate standards-based curricula that align with Arkansas Content Standards.
- Lead the development and adoption of innovative instructional strategies to improve student learning.
- Integrate educational technology and digital tools to enhance classroom engagement and outcomes.
2. Data-Driven Decision Making & Assessment
- Analyze and interpret student performance data to drive instructional improvements.
- Develop and implement formative and summative assessments to measure student progress.

3. Teacher Leadership & Professional Learning
- Serve as a mentor and instructional coach for novice and experienced educators.
