Upon completion of the Associate of Applied Science in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, a graduate will be able to:
- Install equipment, machines, and wiring
- Determine cause of operating errors
- Repair machines or systems
- Determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do the job
- Understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
- Conduct tests and inspections of products, services or processing to evaluate quality of performance
- Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
