Upon completion of the Associate of Applied Science degree in Health Information Technology, a graduate will be able to:
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication.
- Accurately record and collect data and document findings, and assess.
- Supervise and provide teaching to other personnel.
- Effectively utilize all stages of health information (assessment, health information process, planning, implementation and evaluation).
- Apply a code of ethics specific to health information technology.
