Upon completion of the Associate of Applied Science degree in Human Services, a graduate will be able to:
- Students will demonstrate fundamental knowledge and comprehension of the central concepts, theoretical perspectives, principles of application, and current and historical trends related to human services.
- Students will demonstrate problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and practical research methods in human services settings.
- Students will develop skills to ensure responsible and professional behaviors that optimize well-being and support the acquisition of service needs of a diverse population.
- Students will demonstrate written and oral communication mastery and practical interpersonal communication skills with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients.
- In professional settings, students will demonstrate mastery of professional skills, including content knowledge, self-reflection, project management, and teamwork.
