Students who choose to seek the Bachelor of Arts in Communication, in consultation with an advisor, can design a program in one of the following areas of emphasis:

1. Communication for the professions
2. Language and culture
3. Organizational communication
4. Performance studies

Certain electives and social sciences are recommended based on student’s emphasis.

Students who complete the program will be able to:

• perform diagnostic communication activities.
• create and present effective arguments.
• prepare original research presentable through an appropriate medium.
• communicate effectively orally and through writing (General Education Objective).
