The minor in Latin American and Latino Studies with language proficiency is designed for students who wish to obtain a sufficient background about the Spanish speaking populations in Arkansas and the United States. This minor will be particularly valuable to students who are already bilingual and who plan to work with native Spanish speakers in the health fields, law enforcement, education, and the service sectors.
