Leadership Minor

The Leadership Minor is designed to empower students with the skills and experience needed to lead with confidence and impact. Through a multidisciplinary approach, students explore leadership theories, ethical decision-making, and team dynamics. Students engage in hands-on learning, including collaborative projects and the completion of a leadership-focused internship, that provide opportunities to apply program concepts in practical settings.

- To identify leadership theories and put those theories into practical application inside and outside of the college environment
- To recognize traits and characteristics that make individuals successful in leadership
- To learn how to understand the change process and what it means to be a leader of change
- To interact with others and understand how group dynamics influence leadership
