Through a combination of elective courses in education, candidates will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively teach at the secondary level. Upon completion of the program, students will not only possess expertise in their chosen academic discipline but also hold certification to teach in secondary education settings. This certification aligns with state licensure requirements and equips graduates with the tools needed to succeed in diverse secondary classrooms.
The Advanced Secondary Certificate program provides a seamless path to becoming a well-rounded educator, combining academic subject mastery with essential pedagogical training to meet the needs of today’s secondary learners.
