An Associates of Applied Science (AAS) in Cybersecurity graduate will understand the techniques used to compromise and infiltrate systems as well as the proven methods to protect data. The AAS in Cybersecurity degree includes courses in programming, wireless technologies, mathematics, and networking with focused concentrations in both theory and hands-on experience.
Students who complete the program will:
- Understand information systems
- Analyze and evaluate information systems
- Understand wireless security and cellular technologies
- Analyze current industry standards
- Assess wireless and cellular systems and security risks
- Install and administer virtual machines
- Implement standard procedures to install virtual machines
- Monitor networks
- Understand Forensics and Incident Response
- Evaluate forensic tools.
- Analyze variety of operating systems and applications for computer evidence
